In February, the Swedish Game Awards will launch as a new event for the professional games industry. The student awards with the same name will remain and come back later in the year, maintaining the 20+ year tradition of highlighting new talent. Students across Sweden will get their moment to shine and show off their projects.  This means in 2026, there will be an expanded celebration of the Swedish games industry. Double the celebration!
